Greg Falken has been helping businesses and organizations develop their Internet presence since 1995. He brings a strong background in media and communications, along with technology expertise that extends back to the earliest days of personal computing. Currently, his attention is drawn to the intersection of computers, the Internet and communications, especially social media and other efforts to humanize technology.
Along the path of a varied career, Greg has worked as a recording engineer for A&M Records and as a commercial pilot, having flown throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, in everything from an open cockpit biplane to corporate jets and turboprops. Pursuing a growing interest in the Internet and World Wide Web, he founded webdancers, an Internet development firm, in 1995 and is currently a partner at Sierra Online Services, in Sonora, CA.
Jennifer Hawks has been working in the accounting/bookkeeping field since 1994. She has worked with a diverse range of clients, from retail businesses to contractors, rental yards and non-profits. This broad range of client experience has enabled Jennifer to become skilled at payroll compliance, sales tax reporting, all areas of accounts payable and receivable, inventory tracking, and general business analysis. As a Senior Associate at Robert A. Hawks, Jr., CPA, she is well versed in tax reporting needs and what CPAs need and like to see in financial reports.
Jennifer is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and is an experienced user with all versions of QuickBooks dating back to 1994. She is passionate about teaching business owners how to be efficient enough in their record keeping that they can spend more time doing what they do best – focusing on growing a successful business. Claudia Newcorn, President of Acorn Enterprises, an innovative marketing and communications consulting agency, has over 25 years of experience in the fields of Strategic and Tactical Marketing, Marketing Planning, Marketing Research, Marketing Communications, Business Coaching, and General Business Strategic Planning. She has worked in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, business-to-business services, telecommunications, beverages, and housewares.
Claudia has served as a Professor at St. Mary’s College, teaching courses in marketing and advertising. She is also a professional writer and editor, and writes regularly for magazines and other publications, including the Modesto Bee, as well as being an award-winning author. She has been the host of two TV Shows, Central Valley Writers Workshop and Central Valley Business Workshop on KAZV-TV.
Claudia holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing & International Business from Northeastern University with honors, and an undergraduate degree in English & Psychology from Wellesley College with honors. Cole Przybyla is the owner of Cole Video, an innovative marketing and video production company founded in 2012, that works closely with clients to develop storytelling visuals designed to connect with their target audiences. He has over 10 years of video production expertise, knowledge of the film and television industry, and social marketing expertise.
Cole earned his undergraduate degree in Film & Digital Media with a concentration in Film & Video Production from University of California Santa Cruz. Cole Video was awarded the “Tuolumne County Small Business of the Year” in 2013, was awarded the UC Merced/Small Business Administration’s “Rising Star” in 2014, and received funding from the City of Sonora as part of a program designed to foster commercial development and success in Downtown Sonora.
Howard is a Senior IT and Business Consultant, with over 35 years of experience leading the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of technical solutions and process re-engineering/ improvements to solve complex business challenges. He holds a degree in software engineering from the University of California – Berkeley, and a certification in Project Management (PMP). He has helped business and IT professionals work together to understand and document business requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide training and ongoing support and enhancements, in addition to launching and providing advisory consulting assistance for a number of non-profit organizations.
